GAW YAN GYI ISLAND
*Gaw Yan Gyi Island -GYG is situated on 25 miles ( 40 kilometres ) far south of Chaung Tha and Ngwe Saung beach .
Gaw Yan Gyi ( ေဂၚရန္ဂ်ီ ) is an island in Ayeyarrwady Region in South West Myanmar.It is located near Nan Tha Pu ( နံသပု ) village, Ngayoke Kaung sub-township,Pathein District of Myanmar.It is a tourist destiination due to its beautiful rock formation ,reefs and surrounding scenery.
Most visitors stay in the guest house or home and take he local food accordng to the home cooking.To be friendly with villagers , it is bettter to stay in the guest house in Ngayoke Kaung.But it is also nice to go and stay in Nan Tha Pu village ; there are some nice basic and standard guest houses nowadays.
